Bike Stories

I recently put on a fundraiser for BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse) , and it got me thinking of my childhood memories, and the times my friends and family had on our pedal bikes.

Man we had our own imaginary bike clubs and we were bad a$s in our minds.

I remember making bikes out of whatever we could use to make them cool, and my dad was a mechanic so we learned a lot from him how to fix and build our own bikes.

There were many cuts and bruises from some pretty bad wipe outs but we survived.

We made many miles, got a lot of exercise and wow we had so much fun back then, there are so many cool stories to tell.

Like getting my jeans caught in the chain, hahaha kinda funny and embarrassing…

Do you have a bike story from childhood?

Holiday Bikes for Kids | BACA Fundraiser Event

The BACA fundraiser event “Holiday Bikes for Kids” on December 9, 2023 at Pink Cadillac’s Diner was a success, and I’m very happy.

We raised over $2000 for BACA.

Local personal and business donations provided many great items that were used for a silent auction that evening.

Sofia Petelina was my right hand woman helping me with many things, such as donations, 50/50 draw, helping organize, selling tickets, etc. in conjunction with the Army and Navy Veterans Club Saskatoon.

Mike Sherstabitoff donated two very cool BMX Pedal bikes that are going to a couple kids that deserve a sweet ride.

Thank you everyone that showed up and donated, with your help and the help of BACA we will put some smiles on kids faces
